ENGR-111 Introduction to Engineering

Project: Topic

A paragraph or two, and it’s not binding. Ballpark answers are fine. Tell me:

• What you’re thinking about building, and what problem it solves or need it meets
• Roughly what it’s made of, and a rough budget
• Whether you’ve built, wired, coded, or made anything like it before
• How many hours you think it will take, start to finish

If you have two ideas and can’t choose, describe both and say which way you’re leaning.

You can change your topic later. I will reply with feedback; use it when you write your proposal. The point of this step is to make sure you have a well-scoped, manageable project that you can complete in the short time the course gives you. Projects most often fail because they were too ambitious from the start.

Type it into the Moodle submission box. A diagram or photo is welcome but not required; attach it as a file.

Grading. Full credit for a real topic, on time. Otherwise, grading and the AI policy are in the syllabus.
