Homework 1: About You
Short assignment. Answer all six in a few sentences each. This tells me who is in the course and at what level.
- What name do you want me to call you? Set that as your display name in Zoom for our sessions (you can rename yourself once you are in the meeting), so I see it every time.
- What math class are you in now, or what was the last one you finished?
- Where are you in your program? First term at CCC, a term or two in, been here a while, or transferring in from somewhere else?
- How sure are you that engineering is the right path for you? Certain, pretty sure, still exploring, or honestly not sure at all? Any answer is fine; many people take this course to find out.
- What do you want to get out of this course?
- Anything about your schedule or situation I should know? Working full time, caring for family, anything that will affect when you can be online.
